New LPGA Rules on Clothing Spark Controversy

Clare Hare Darien has always had a more traditional look with collars, longer hemlengths and buttoned shirts.  However, style has always played into it as imported fabrics in bold prints and great cuts win out.  Many were surprised that the LPGA issued rules on lengths of skorts and necklines, as well as collars.  However, as I know many old style clubs still impose a regulation hemlength on skorts and enforce with a letter to the member when not followed.  If you can't beat them, why not join them?
