Clare Hare Darien was started in 2005 by Clare B. Hare
who has been in business since February 2003 as an
apparel designer and producer when she introduced a line
of women’s wrap skirts under the label: H2H
Connecticut. Clare Hare has previously been successful
selling to several high-end boutiques in Fairfield County,
Connecticut, Nantucket and Palm Beach including:
Mitchell’s and Richard’s, Razooks and Eye of the Needle.
Clare Hare Golf is sold offline exclusively to upscale golf
clubs and is available in pro shops.
Clare Hare graduated from Brown University with a B.S.
Degree and from the University of Chicago with a MBA.
She previously worked in consulting at McKinsey and
Company and investment banking at Goldman, Sachs &
Co. in NYC. For ten years, she worked as an agent for
Waterhouse & Dodd, a London-based gallery specializing
in late nineteenth and twentieth century paintings. She
resides in Connecticut with her husband and family.
